Have you been following your weight loss plans to the letter but have not seen any reasonable results? You may unconsciously have sabotaged your own weight loss plan. In order to experience radical transformation from a large body size to a trim body size, it is imperative to checkmate some of the activities you indulge in. Engaging in lots of weight loss activities without any reasonable changes is frustrating; no doubt about that, hence it is required to check some of the activities that can disrupt your weight loss plan. In the next paragraphs, I would highlight some of these unintentional weight loss sabotage. Check out this list below to see if any of them apply to you.
1 - Your Workouts are Always the Same:
One of the greatest murderers of weight loss exercise routines are jammed. It is very important that you change your workout plan every now and then. You can enroll in the Curves Circuit with Zumba to vary your workout. The days I do not go to Curves I look for an alternative exercise like rowing, cycling or swimming.
2 - You do Obsessively Diet:
A diet of all or nothing does not work very well in the long term. Sure, it's good to pay attention to what we eat, but occasionally denying yourself only makes you want it more, and you will probably eat more of that cake later if you do not allow yourself to eat a bite or two now. While it is advisable to deny yourself of food substances that would naturally contribute to weight gain, having a bite or two would not contribute immensely to weight gain.
Similarly, a strict diet with no room for manoeuvre is a diet, not a lifestyle change, which is what you really need if you want to lose weight and keep it off.
3 - You Skip Breakfast:
Skipping a meal means you cut calories, right? Well, yes, but in long run you're doing a bad thing. To skip the morning meal, you are preparing yourself for an increase in hunger, you will end up eating without control later to compensate for lost calories.
During my weight loss exercise plan, I skipped breakfast a couple of times; I found out I did myself more harm than good because on the long run, I end up eating large chunk of foods at night because I deprived myself of breakfast.
Furthermore, because the levels of sugar in the blood are low, you will be more likely to fall into the sugary treats to keep you alert and full of energy, instead of healthier snacks like nuts and vegetables.
4 - You're not Eating Enough:
We humans, we have evolved to the point of being able to separate intentional weight loss from the failure of hunting and gathering, so when your body does not get enough calories, enters survival mode.
Not eating enough calories can cause your body to retain more fat in an attempt to help survive the famine, and also means you're not getting enough nutrients to give your body all the vitamins and minerals needed for healthy functioning.
If any of the above applies to you, I suggest that you adjust your weight loss methods strategies in order to obtain reasonable changes. Most times, in order to lose weight, we end up gaining more weight than expected because of our workout habits.
